Travel Telemetry RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults in a hospital transition unit in San Antonio, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 10 beds, a 5:1 ratio, telemetry monitoring, EKG equipment, and MediTech charting. Care focuses on cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced setting.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Provide nursing care for telemetry and medical-surgical patients
• Perform assessments, document findings, and update care plans
• Use telemetry and EKG equipment to support patient monitoring
• Coordinate care with the nursing team and patient care technician
• Support patients transitioning from emergency department holds to inpatient care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills

• Experience with emergency department, cardiac telemetry, and medical-surgical patients
