Travel Telemetry RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care for oncology and medical-surgical patients in a hospital unit in San Antonio, Texas for a 13 week contract. The 12-bed unit uses Meditech and typically runs with 1:5 to 1:6 ratios.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Assess oncology and medical-surgical patients and update the care plan
• Administer medications and support chemotherapy care
• Coordinate with the care team to prioritize patient needs
• Document assessments, treatments and responses in Meditech
• Maintain patient safety and assist with routine unit workflows

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Telemetry nursing skills
• Oncology and medical-surgical care skills

• Medical-surgical experience
