Travel Telemetry RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care in a telemetry unit in Austin, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit has 32 private rooms, typical ratios of 5:1, and uses Meditech.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Assess respiratory status and support oxygen and airway management
• Administer cardiac drips and maintain non-titrated therapy
• Prepare patients for stress tests, heart cath, and CABG care
• Assist with paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube care
• Document assessments and interventions in the electronic record

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• CPR certification
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Respiratory care experience with advanced airways and oxygen management
• Experience with cardiac drips without titration

• ACLS or ALS certification
