Travel Telemetry RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient cardiac monitoring and nursing care in a hospital telemetry unit for a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 34 private rooms, a 5:1 ratio, and Meditech charting.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Assess patients with telemetry needs and report significant findings
• Administer ordered medications and manage cardiac drips as directed
• Support respiratory care, including oxygen delivery and advanced airway assistance
• Assist with stress tests, heart catheterization, and post-procedure care
• Provide care for patients with CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CPR certification
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience with advanced airways and oxygen management

• ALS certification
