Travel Telemetry RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for medical-surgical and surgical oncology patients in a hospital telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 34 beds, uses MediTech charting, and maintains 1:6 staffing with continuous cardiac monitoring for young adult through geriatric patients.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Provide modified total patient care for medical-surgical and surgical oncology patients
• Administer medications and routine treatments according to the plan of care
• Support chemotherapy administration when certified
• Collaborate with charge nurses and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response in the chart

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Med/Surg experience

• Chemotherapy certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
