Travel Telemetry RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic and telemetry patients in a hospital in San Antonio, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and includes preoperative and postoperative orthopedic care, total joint procedures, and wound care.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and report changes
• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care
• Assist with total knee and hip replacement recovery
• Perform wound care and dressing changes
• Administer medications and reinforce patient education
• Document care in Meditech

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse experience
• Minimal wound care experience

• Orthopedic nursing experience
• Meditech experience
