Travel Telemetry RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care in an orthopedic telemetry hospital unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 23 beds, uses Meditech, and averages 5:1 ratios. Care includes postoperative orthopedic and general surgery patients with telemetry monitoring and support equipment.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Deliver postoperative nursing care for orthopedic patients
• Support care for general surgery, plastics and gyn patients
• Assist with lift equipment, cryotherapy and SCDs
• Perform bedside assessments and coordinate care with the team
• Document patient care in Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• Med-surg telemetry experience
• Telemetry competency

• Orthopedic experience
