About this job

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside cardiac monitoring and nursing care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 34 beds, 1:6 assignments, and Meditech charting with telemetry monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
  • Assess patients and document clinical status
  • Administer medications and coordinate treatments
  • Support Med/Surg and telemetry care needs
  • Assist with wound vacs, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing
  • Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the care team

Qualifications

  • Texas Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support
  • Med/Surg nursing experience
  • Telemetry nursing experience

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • TNCC
