Travel Telemetry RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient telemetry and medical-surgical care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit has 8 inpatient beds, may flex to 12, and uses Meditech. Care is for adult med-surg patients with a maximum ratio of 6:1.

• Assess medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and clinical status
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Maintain urinary catheters and central lines
• Document care in Meditech
• Communicate changes with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of recent acute med/surg experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• 2+ years of recent acute med/surg experience
• Orthopedic surgery background
• Neurosurgery background
• Med/Surg/Telemetry background
