Travel Telemetry RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for neuro telemetry patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and serves patients with stroke, seizure, and other neurological conditions.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and report changes in condition
• Assess neuro status and support care for stroke, seizure, and neurological patients
• Start peripheral IVs and assist with Foley and NGT insertions
• Administer ordered treatments and coordinate bedside nursing care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe cardiac and neuro care

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• Telemetry nursing experience

• Neuro-stroke, seizure, and neurological disorder experience
• Cardiac and neuro-surgical experience
• Meditech charting experience
