Travel Sterile Processing Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will support decontamination, assembly, and sterilization in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The setting is a Level I trauma, teaching, Magnet hospital with a broad surgical case mix.

• Decontaminate surgical instruments and scope equipment
• Assemble, wrap, and sterilize sets and trays
• Perform high-level disinfection and immediate-use steam sterilization as assigned
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and other cleaning equipment
• Inspect instruments, indicators, and packaging integrity
• Reprocess scopes and probes and prepare case carts

• CBSPD or HSPA certification
• 2 years of sterile processing experience
• Acute hospital or ambulatory surgery center experience
• Level I trauma and teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• Equipment documentation
• Steam sterilization testing and monitoring
• Experience with orthopedic, neuro, and craniotomy sets
