Travel Sterile Processing Tech in North Charleston, SC

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will support decontamination, assembly, wrapping, and sterilization in a hospital in North Charleston, South Carolina, on a 13-week contract. The unit serves infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a Level I trauma center, teaching facility, and Magnet hospital.

• Decontaminate instruments and surgical equipment
• Assemble and wrap sets and trays
• Operate washers and sterilizers
• Reprocess scopes and probes
• Perform high-level disinfection
• Handle cleaning support for patient care equipment

• Two years of sterile processing experience
• CBSPD or HSPA certification
• Acute hospital or ambulatory surgery center experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Prior travel experience

• Biological and chemical indicators
• Case cart handling
• Equipment documentation and steam sterilization monitoring
• Sterile Processing Microsystem experience
