Travel Rehabilitation RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital rehab unit in Portland, Oregon, for a 16-week contract. The unit serves adults with stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI, amputation, and debility, with 18 beds, Epic charting, and first-time travelers welcome.

• Assess adult rehab patients and update care plans
• Monitor blood glucose, swallowing precautions, and fall risk
• Manage PEG feeds, tube care, and insulin protocols
• Support transfers, mobility, and safe use of lift devices
• Reinforce therapy goals and discharge teaching
• Coordinate with PT, OT, SLP, and support services

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 1 year of rehabilitation or med surg RN experience
• Epic charting experience
• Blood glucose monitoring, PEG and feeding tube care, swallowing precautions, fall-risk prevention, and lift and transfer device use

• Acute inpatient rehab experience
• Stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI, amputation, or debility care
• Assistive device use, mobilization techniques, wound care, and pressure injury prevention
• Charge nurse experience
