Travel Rehabilitation RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse will care for post-stroke, surgical, and medical patients in an acute care hospital inpatient rehab unit on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The 16-bed unit uses Meditech and has an experienced team.

• Assess and monitor rehabilitation patients
• Plan and implement nursing care with the therapy team
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Document patient status and progress in Meditech
• Respond to changes in condition and update the plan of care
• Educate patients and families on recovery goals

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Rehab documentation knowledge
• CRRN certification
• ACLS or PALS
• Basic dysthymia class
