Travel Rehabilitation RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital rehab unit on a 13-week contract in Cookeville, Tennessee. The unit serves neurological, orthopedic, debilitated medical, and cardiopulmonary patients with a 1:7 ratio and 20 beds.

• Provide direct nursing care for rehabilitation patients
• Assist with phlebotomy, nebulizer treatments, EKGs, and bladder ultrasound
• Monitor mobility, safety, and functional progress
• Support care for neurological, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Coordinate with physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Use safe patient handling equipment during transfers and repositioning
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient response

• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• BLS certification
• 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience
• Knowledge of Medicare quality measures

• Acute inpatient rehab experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Wound care, mobility support, and patient teaching
