Travel Rehabilitation RN in Napa, CA

A Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse will provide rehabilitation nursing care in an acute rehab hospital in Napa, California on a 13-week contract. Adults and geriatrics are served in a 7-bed, 14-room unit with an average daily census of 10 and Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide nursing care for adults and geriatrics in rehabilitation
• Monitor mobility, neurologic, respiratory, and swallowing status
• Assist with therapy plans, transfers, and safe ambulation
• Manage IVs, lines, oxygen, and glucose monitoring per orders
• Support patient teaching, precautions, and discharge preparation
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including 1 year in acute rehab
• Epic charting system experience

• Stroke and brain injury care
• Spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury care
• Tracheostomy, PEG tube, and wound care
