Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will support neonatal and pediatric patients in a children’s hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The setting includes a Level IV NICU, PICU, and high-risk deliveries for infants through adolescents.

• Deliver respiratory care across NICU, PICU, and pediatric units
• Assist with airway management and ventilatory support
• Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport
• Monitor blood gases and patient response
• Manage tracheostomy, suctioning, and oxygen therapies
• Collaborate with the care team on complex cardiopulmonary needs

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certification
• Virginia Respiratory Therapist license or temporary licensure eligibility
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV neonatal intensive care experience

• Pediatric cardiac PICU experience
• ACCS and PALS certification
• Advanced neonatal ventilation skills
• Teaching hospital experience
