Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for neonates and children in a children's hospital for a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit cares for neonates, infants, adolescents, and children in a Level IV NICU and PICU, including high-risk deliveries and complex congenital heart cases.

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and children in NICU, PICU, and acute care pediatrics
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport support
• Manage ventilator support, including high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide
• Deliver aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance
• Assist with intubation, extubation, bag-mask ventilation, and airway placement
• Interpret ABGs and respond to changes in respiratory status
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Virginia state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience
• Neonatal and pediatric airway management, ventilator support, suctioning, and tracheostomy care skills

• PALS certification
• Pediatric cardiac PICU experience
• ACCS certification
• Teaching hospital experience
