Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a children's hospital on a 52-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports a Level IV NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics. Competence with jet ventilation and high-frequency oscillation is needed.

• Deliver respiratory care across NICU, PICU, high-risk delivery, and pediatric acute care settings
• Assist with intubation, extubation, and neonatal transport support
• Manage oxygen delivery, aerosol therapy, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Operate high-frequency jet ventilation and high-frequency oscillation systems
• Assess breath sounds, ABGs, and respiratory status changes
• Support tracheostomy care, suctioning, and inhaled therapies

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Virginia state license
• BLS and NRP
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience
• Airway management, ABG interpretation, and pediatric critical care skills

• ACCS
• Cardiac PICU experience
• PALS
• Teaching hospital experience
