Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will support neonatal and pediatric respiratory care in a children's hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role covers NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics, with high-frequency ventilation and neonatal transport support.

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports
• Manage ventilators, high-frequency ventilation, and oxygen support
• Perform airway care, suctioning, and tracheostomy management
• Interpret ABGs and monitor respiratory status
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP
• Virginia state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience, including level IV NICU and pediatric critical care
• Competence with high-frequency jet ventilation and high-frequency oscillation

• PALS
• Cardiac PICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
