Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics, with advanced ventilation support for complex respiratory needs.

• Support respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport needs
• Manage ventilatory support and oxygen delivery systems
• Perform airway care, suctioning, and tracheostomy support
• Interpret ABGs and respond to changes in respiratory status
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Virginia State License
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience and pediatric critical care skills

• PALS certification
• Cardiac PICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• ACCS certification
