Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics in a level IV children's hospital with complex cardiac care.

• Support respiratory care across NICU, PICU, and acute care pediatric areas
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal stabilization
• Manage ventilator support with jet and oscillator modes
• Perform airway care, suctioning, and tracheostomy management
• Assist with intubation, extubation, and blood gas interpretation
• Participate in neonatal transports and multidisciplinary rounds

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Virginia Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS and NRP
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience

• ACCS
• Cardiac PICU experience
• PALS
• Teaching hospital experience
