Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide care for neonates and children in a children's hospital for a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports a Level IV NICU, PICU, and high-risk deliveries for complex respiratory needs.

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports
• Manage ventilator support and noninvasive respiratory therapy
• Perform airway care, suctioning, and tracheostomy support
• Interpret ABGs and respond to changes in respiratory status
• Collaborate with the care team on complex pediatric cases

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Virginia state license or temporary licensure eligibility with an active out-of-state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience

• PALS certification
• ACCS certification
• Pediatric cardiac PICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
