Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory support for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a children's hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia for a 13-week contract. The assignment includes NICU, PICU, and high-risk deliveries, with advanced airway and ventilatory support.

• Provide respiratory care in the NICU, PICU, and acute care pediatric settings
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, airway support, and neonatal stabilization
• Support mechanical ventilation, HFOV, and jet ventilation
• Administer oxygen therapy, CPAP, HFNC, and inhaled treatments
• Monitor ABGs and communicate patient status with the care team
• Assist with neonatal transport and inter-unit respiratory needs

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP
• Virginia state license or temporary Virginia license with another state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience
• ABG interpretation and pediatric airway skills

• PALS
• Pediatric cardiac PICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
