Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory care in a hospital setting on a 52-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports a Level IV NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics with advanced ventilator support in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Provide respiratory therapy for NICU, PICU, and pediatric patients
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport
• Manage airway support, oxygen delivery, and ventilator care
• Collect and interpret ABGs and respond to changing status
• Support tracheostomy care, suctioning, and aerosol therapies
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and therapists

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certification
• Virginia state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience
• Strong airway, ventilator, and ABG skills

• PALS certification
• Cardiac PICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
