Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a children's hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit serves neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in NICU, PICU, and high-risk delivery care.

• Deliver respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports
• Support ventilator management and noninvasive respiratory therapies
• Perform airway care, suctioning, and tracheostomy management
• Interpret ABGs and monitor patient response
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Virginia state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV neonatal intensive care unit experience
• Pediatric critical care skills and ABG interpretation

• Pediatric cardiac PICU experience
• ACCS
• PALS
• Teaching hospital experience
