Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The role supports adults and geriatrics in a Level I trauma teaching hospital with Epic charting and a multidisciplinary respiratory services team.

• Deliver respiratory treatments and routine airway care
• Assist with ventilator support, weaning, and alarm troubleshooting
• Perform and interpret ABGs and monitor patient response
• Support tracheostomy care, suctioning, and oxygen therapy
• Assist with bronchoscopy, intubation, and extubation care
• Provide chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapies for adult patients

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS certification
• Virginia state license or temporary license eligibility with another state license
• 4 years of respiratory therapy experience, with consideration for candidates with 2+ years
• Adult critical care experience
• Teaching hospital and Level II trauma center experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ACLS certification
• ACCS certification
• Level I trauma center experience
