Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will care for neonatal and pediatric patients in a children's hospital respiratory unit on a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports a Level IV NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics.

• Assess neonatal and pediatric respiratory status
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and airway management
• Support invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Operate high-frequency jet and oscillator ventilators
• Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and aerosol therapies
• Interpret ABGs and coordinate with the care team

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP
• Virginia state license or temporary licensure eligibility through an active out-of-state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience

• ACCS
• Pediatric cardiac experience
• Teaching hospital experience
