Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care respiratory support for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents in a children's hospital unit on a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports a Level IV NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics.

• Provide respiratory care across NICU, PICU, and acute pediatric settings
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal stabilization
• Operate advanced ventilatory support systems
• Assess blood gases and adjust therapy per protocol
• Support intubation, extubation, and airway management
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and transport support

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Virginia state respiratory care license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience
• Critical care respiratory therapy skills

• PALS
• ACCS
• Pediatric cardiac critical care experience
• Teaching hospital experience
