Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a children's hospital on a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports a Level IV NICU, PICU, and high-risk deliveries with advanced ventilation support and neonatal airway care. It serves a multidisciplinary pediatric team.

• Provide respiratory therapy for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport
• Manage noninvasive and invasive airway support
• Perform suctioning, aerosol therapy, and tracheostomy care
• Interpret ABGs and support ventilator adjustments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP
• Virginia state license or temporary Virginia license eligibility with another state license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience, including Level IV NICU experience
• Competence in neonatal airway management, ventilator support, and ABG interpretation

• Cardiac PICU experience
• PALS
• Teaching hospital experience
