Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a children's hospital for a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents in Level IV NICU and PICU settings, including high-risk deliveries and complex cardiac care.

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports
• Manage ventilator support, CPAP, HFNC, and nitric oxide therapy
• Perform airway management, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Support intubation, extubation, and blood gas interpretation
• Collaborate with the care team across NICU, PICU, and acute care pediatrics

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP
• Virginia state license, with temporary license eligibility before start
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Cardiac PICU experience
• ACCS
• PALS
• Teaching hospital experience
