Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care across a children's hospital on a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role supports neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a Level IV NICU and PICU, including high-risk deliveries and advanced ventilation support.

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal stabilization
• Manage oxygen therapy, noninvasive support, and ventilator care
• Support airway care, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and extubation
• Interpret ABGs and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Assist with neonatal transports between departments

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Virginia Respiratory Therapist license
• 1 year of NICU and PICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience

• PALS and ACCS certifications
• PICU cardiac experience
• Teaching hospital experience
