Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Arlington, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide direct respiratory care in a respiratory unit on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Virginia. The role serves mostly adults with a small pediatric volume from the ED and uses Epic charting.

• Assess respiratory status and support care planning
• Deliver oxygen, aerosol, and ventilatory treatments
• Assist with airway management and intubation support
• Perform ABG collection and related monitoring
• Manage tracheostomy care, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene
• Support mechanical ventilation weaning and patient transport
• Supervise assigned personnel and document care

• Graduation from an NBRC-approved respiratory care program or active AARC membership
• Virginia Respiratory Therapy license
• BLS and ACLS
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential and Certified Respiratory Therapist credential
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Adult critical care experience
• Pediatrics or NICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or II experience
