Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for progressive care patients in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The unit has a 4:1 ratio and serves PCU and med-surg level patients on standard drips, excluding insulin and vasopressors.

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Administer medications and support standard drip therapy
• Assess progressive care and med-surg level patients
• Collaborate with the care team on daily plans
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses
• Educate patients and families on care needs

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Progressive care and step-down nursing skills
