Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Arlington, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for progressive cardiac patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Texas. The unit has 34 beds, uses Meditech charting, and serves PCU and med-surg stepdown patients with 1:5 to 1:6 ratios.

• Monitor progressive care patients and respond to changing cardiac status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Assist with Foley and NGT insertions
• Provide wound care and support infection prevention
• Use telemetry, EKG, bladder scanning, glucometers, and pulse oximetry equipment
• Document care in the electronic record and coordinate with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

• ICU and PCU experience
• Precepting experience
• PCCN, TNCC, or TCAR certification
