Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for burn and reconstructive patients, along with off-service stroke and cardiac patients, in a hospital progressive care setting on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. Meditech is used, and typical ratios are 1:3 to 1:4.

• Assess burn and progressive care patients
• Perform dressing changes and wound care
• Monitor neurologic and cardiac status
• Administer medications and treatments
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team
• Support discharge planning and patient education

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience
• Independent bedside practice skills
