Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiac telemetry patients in a hospital in San Antonio, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 29 private rooms, uses Meditech, and manages patients with continuous monitoring needs and higher fall risk.

• Monitor telemetry and pulse oximetry trends
• Perform cardiac and respiratory assessments
• Administer blood transfusions and IV starts
• Assist with midline and central line removals
• Support safe care for high fall risk patients
• Coordinate with the care team on patient throughput

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• Telemetry experience
• Accredited nursing program graduate

• NIH Stroke preparedness
• PALS
• ICU experience
• PCU experience
