Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a cardiac hospital unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 29 private rooms, uses Meditech, and typically serves 1:4 or 1:5 patient assignments with telemetry monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms
• Perform respiratory and cardiac assessments
• Administer blood transfusions and IV therapy
• Start IVs and assist with line removal
• Care for high fall risk patients
• Collaborate with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Telemetry nursing experience

• NIH Stroke Prepared certification
• PALS certification
• ICU experience
• Progressive care experience
