Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for telemetry patients in a hospital in San Antonio, Texas on a 13-week contract. The split unit has 47 beds, uses Meditech, and sees a typical 1:3-4 ratio.

• Monitor progressive care patients and telemetry rhythms
• Administer ordered medications and manage IV drips
• Assess patient status and report changes promptly
• Document care and responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team on plan of care
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges on the unit

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of hospital or specialty experience
• Previous critical care experience

• Telemetry monitoring
• Tracheostomy care
• Experience with various IV drips
• Meditech experience
