Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Mckinney, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for adult patients on a 13-week contract in McKinney, Texas. The unit has 46 beds, an average census of 34, a 1:4 ratio that can reach 1:5, and uses Meditech charting.

• Monitor progressive care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Titrate drips such as heparin, Cardizem, and Cardene per protocol
• Support patients receiving BiPAP and high-flow oxygen
• Assist with remote telemetry and continuous monitoring
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, techs, and interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
• Use lift equipment to support safe patient mobility

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Progressive care experience with titratable drips, telemetry, and respiratory support

• More than 1 year of progressive care unit experience
• Meditech charting experience
