Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Tomball, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in a hospital intermediate care unit on a 13-week contract in Tomball, Texas. The 34-bed unit uses a 1:4 ratio and supports patients who need close monitoring, medication support, and airway care.

• Monitor patient status and telemetry
• Administer ordered medications and IV therapies
• Assess for changes and report concerns promptly
• Support patients with tracheostomy care and respiratory needs
• Coordinate care with charge nurse and support staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses
• Educate patients and families on the care plan

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Progressive care or intermediate care nursing skills

• Experience with non titratable drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
• Tracheostomy care experience
