Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Irving, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Irving, Texas. The unit has 11 beds, uses Meditech, and typically staffs 4:1 ratios, with bedside vital signs monitoring in each room.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Provide care for progressive care patients with complex cardiac needs
• Administer and monitor critical cardiac drips
• Assist with paracentesis and thoracentesis care
• Watch for hematoma changes after sheath removal
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse experience
• Telemetry interpretation skills
• Progressive care or higher-acuity bedside experience

• Critical cardiac drip management
• Post-sheath removal hematoma monitoring
