Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Denton, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for stroke, cardiac, and post-procedure patients in a hospital progressive care unit during a 13-week contract in Denton, Texas. The unit uses Meditech, telemetry, bedside monitoring, BiPAP, and a 4:1 ratio that can flex to 5:1.

• Monitor progressive care patients for neurologic and cardiac changes
• Manage telemetry, bedside monitoring, and hemodynamic trends
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips per protocol
• Support patients on continuous BiPAP and respiratory devices
• Assist with post-procedure recovery and emergent thoracentesis care
• Coordinate stroke care and interdisciplinary communication
• Document care in Meditech accurately

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification
• Progressive care, telemetry, and bedside monitoring skills

• Preceptor experience
• Charge nurse experience
