Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Denton, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital in Denton, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit manages stroke patients, cardiac drips, patients on continuous BiPAP, and post procedure patients, with 4:1 ratios and Meditech charting.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in cardiac status
• Care for stroke and post procedure patients
• Support patients requiring continuous BiPAP
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips per protocol
• Perform focused assessments and document changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on plan of care

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Clinical experience in progressive care or step-down nursing

• Preceptor experience
• Charge nurse experience
