Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for monitored patients in an acute care hospital in Dallas, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 16 beds, a 1:4 ratio, and uses Meditech. It serves monitored COVID patients in a teaching acute care hospital.

• Monitor telemetry and assess patient status
• Administer medications and ordered therapies
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain safe and organized patient care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Progressive Care Unit experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
