Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct care for adult stepdown patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The unit focuses on cardiac stepdown and telemetry and uses MEDITECH.

• Monitor telemetry and assess stepdown patients
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Respond to changes in cardiac or respiratory status
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• 2+ years of progressive care unit experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

• MEDITECH experience
