Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for patients on a stroke and brain unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit has 16 beds, a 4:1 ratio, Meditech charting, and telemetry-focused care for stroke and neurology patients, with high employee engagement.

• Monitor telemetry and neurological status
• Manage cardiac drips and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support progressive care treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Educate patients and families on recovery and safety

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Progressive care, telemetry, and neurology experience
• Stroke experience
