Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 16-bed unit serves stroke and brain patients with a 4:1 ratio and uses Meditech charting. Telemetry support and cardiac drip care are part of the setting.

• Monitor telemetry and rhythm changes
• Assess neurologic status and stroke symptoms
• Manage cardiac drips per orders
• Administer medications and treatments
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Coordinate care with the bedside team

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Stroke experience
• Telemetry experience
• Cardiac drip management skills
