Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult burn and progressive care patients on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 6-bed unit serves mixed-acuity patients across ICU, PCU, telemetry, and med-surg levels of care and uses Meditech. It is a Level 1 trauma, stroke, and cardiac verified hospital with a multidisciplinary burn team.

• Monitor adult burn and progressive care patients with variable acuity
• Titrate hemodynamic drips and track cardiac rhythms
• Assist with debridement, dressing changes, line care, and chest tube maintenance
• Support post-operative procedural care and bedside shift reporting
• Document care in Meditech and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with the burn team and other disciplines to coordinate care

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIH certification
• ICU or PCU experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring and drip titration skills
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Burn unit experience
• ABLS certification
