Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in a stroke and brain unit at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 16-bed unit uses Meditech charting, maintains a 4:1 ratio, and serves patients needing telemetry, neurologic care, and cardiac drips. The team has high employee engagement.

• Monitor telemetry and neurologic status
• Administer and manage cardiac drips
• Assess stroke and brain patients
• Document care in Meditech
• Recognize and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe patient care

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Stroke, telemetry, and neurology experience
• Cardiac drip management
• Basic dysrhythmia recognition
