Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult burn and mixed-acuity patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit has 6 beds, serves ICU, PCU, telemetry, and medical-surgical level patients, uses Meditech, and is a Level 1 trauma facility.

• Provide care for adult burn and progressive care patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status
• Titrate drips and respond to acuity changes
• Assist with debridement, dressing changes, and post-op procedural care
• Support line and chest tube maintenance
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and the multidisciplinary team
• Follow bedside shift report and patient safety practices

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIH certification
• ICU/PCU level of care experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring and drip titration proficiency
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation proficiency

• Burn unit experience
• ABLS certification
